想像與再現:古代到十七世紀對世外桃源阿卡迪亞的呈現

以阿卡迪亞為典型的黃金時期概念最早出現在古希臘神話故事,赫西俄德將阿卡迪亞描寫為人類與自然和諧共存的理想世界,開啟世人對阿卡迪亞的想像由真實存在的地理空間轉化成幻(夢)想之境;維吉爾的牧羊田園詩樹立往後文人與藝術家融合想像並賦予阿卡迪亞不同意涵的典範,使阿卡迪亞成為文學與藝術創作中常見的題材。中世紀在基督教思維的影響下阿卡迪亞成為具宗教意義的人間天堂或閉鎖的庭園(Hortus conclusus)的象徵。此外,阿卡迪亞同時承載世人對人與自然關係、異域及身後世界的探索與想像。 ‧‧‧ read more ...
